[ACTION LOG] Grimmjow vs. Rukia
Who: Rukia, Byakuya, Grimmjow, Aizen, and spectators
Where: Dojo 5
When: 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 27 (Sorry, my job sucks on the weekend!)
What: sanctioned match
Warnings: If we don't get to the violence on this one, you'll make Aizen cry.

After a light lunch of a sandwich and cup of coffee, Aizen went along to his dojo to make ready for the match he was hosting that day. He was sure it would be interesting; Kuchiki Rukia might have disclaimed any rivalry or grudge with Grimmjow, but what else would possess her to urge her brother so insistently to arrange this match with Aizen's feral student? It had to be that remark during the gender studies unit, so long ago. If Aizen were a woman, he, too, would have waited months for the chance to sock Grimmjow.

Everything laid out for the match, he waited.

Byakuya entered the dojo fairly early, not wanting to be anywhere near late for said match. He stood perpendicular to Aizen, without saying a word.

The Kuchiki's eyes darted to the door as Grimmjow entered, looking as smug as ever.

"If I were you, I would adhere to the fact that Rukia has a right to whatever method of preparation she is using for this fight, and as a man have enough respect to at least do the same," Byakuya told him in response to his comment about Rukia's lack of show.

"Welcome, Kuchiki-sama," Aizen said brightly even in the face of Byakuya's aristocratic coldness. He had no love for the bastard, not necessarily because of the way he comported himself, but simply because Kuchiki Byakuya was by some unfortunate fluke his superior, the head of the department. It was for that same reason, however, Aizen had to be a good boy even in the face of the regal ice sculpture.

But it was not merely to impress Byakuya that he aimed his open palm at the back of Grimmjow's head. "Is that any way to speak of Kuchiki-sama's sister? She's not even late yet, Grimmjow. Show a little more respect for the guests of our dojo.

"If I wasn't planning on showing up, why would I have ever accepted this match. Or even chosen to attend this school, Grimmjow?" Rukia's voice came from the doorway of the dojo and she stood there, silhouetted, a smirk on her face. She stepped into the dojo, paying the proper amount of respect to it as surely expected by Aizen, and glanced at her watch.

A minute or two before o'clock now. Punctual, without being too overly early and eager, and infringing upon Aizen's hospitality. But not late. A Kuchiki could never be late.

She undid the pink watch shaped like a bunny's head and slipped it into her bag. Turning to Aizen, she bowed lightly. "Thank you for hosting this match, Aizen-sensei." And she turned to Byakuya, again with a bow. "Thank you for arranging this, the both of you. And for watching me fight, nii-sama. I will do my best to do honor to your teachings."

Which meant she had to kick this pompous arrogant blue haired guy's ass so Byakuya wouldn't just sigh, shake his head, and turn away from her.

Byakuya narrowed his eyes at Rukia as she bowed at him, in the back of his mind hoping that she could at least not make a fool of herself during this match. He was confident in her skill, and would be quite disappointed if she let him down.

He shot a glare at Aizen and Grimmjow, waiting for the match to begin.

If the brother galled him, it must at least be said that his chilliness cultivated an appropriately obsequious attitude in the sister. Aizen smiled on her. "De nada, Kuchiki-chan. I am only too happy to show off my dojo, and my student." He was a far more benevolent god than Kuchiki, or at least he could act it.

He threw out his hands. "If both of you are ready, bow, and you may begin."

Though he has been away, there was no way he couldn't have heard about the match. It had been all the talk in the boys dorm. Grimmjow's first fight and against none other than Rukia.

Renji would never admit he was worried, but he was. Which was what found him slipping into the dojo, after paying his respects, to watch. He was also going to take the opportunity to study Byakuya. It was rare the man came out so of course Renji would be out here as well.

Rangiku was intent on watching as well. She had yet to fight and show her own skills in the ring, but that didn't mean she wasn't training. In fact, matches like these were a perfect opportunity to learn about the other students.

She was interested in both of these two. Grimmjow because he seemed like a fun fight and Rukia because she was genuinely curious as to why a girl like her would even be here. Princesses didn't need to fight, she had princes like Renji to fight for them. She wasn't surprised to see the red head either.

Shaking her head, she entered the dojo and smiled amicably to Aizen and bowed. "Good afternoon, Aizen-sensei. Lovely afternoon for a blood bath don't you agree?"

Of course Yachiru would be there. She had her usual bag of snacks, but as she knelt in front of Glasses-sensei's shrine she wondered if he'd object to her munching. She decided to wait and see.

Smiling, she walked over and found a nice spot in the front to stand. She had two signs, and was ready to heckle. Unrolling the signs, she unveiled KICK HIM IN THE BEANBAG! and GRIMMYGRIMM SUCKS MONKEY POO!

She was certain people would be impressed.

Ulquiorra entered the dojo and looked for the closest place to sit. He had been unable to watch any of the previous matches so he took this opportunity to learn more about his fellow classmates and the way they fought. Nodding to both teachers, he sat down and waited for the match to begin.

"Every day is a lovely day for a blood bath, for good or bad, in this sort of school, Rangiku-chan," Aizen smiled. "Welcome to my dojo."

He gave Renji and Ulquiorra nods as they entered and settled in, of course. He had no especial appreciation for ones who paid respects to his altar, because that altar was merely a prop in his play, The Adorkable, Sensitive Teacher. A heartfelt altar-- well, he wouldn't even need to have one, for it was pointless to worship yourself. In public, at least.

And then there was...Yachiru. She always managed to challenge Aizen in one way or another. Today, she was challenging him not to guffaw loudly at her signs.

It was a tough challenge.
